Gunai Lidj Childcare Centre

The philosophy at Gunai Lidj is to offer children and parents an environment that is safe, hygienic, stimulating, respectful and one that values the children’s individual differences.

• What can your service help with?
  Offers a culturally specific Long Day Care program, Before and After school program and a School Holiday program, we also offer monthly Maternal Health Visits and 2 to 3 Dental check ups throughout the year. These programs support the needs of parents and it offers developmentally appropriate programs for all the children at Gunai Lidj MACS. Has 3 operational rooms: Birth to 18 months old, catering for 4 children; 18 month to 3 year old room which caters for 6 and 8 children and the 3 to 5 year old room that caters for 11 children on a daily basis. The centre operates in accordance with the Victorian Children’s Services Regulations 2010 and the Children’s Services Act 2011 and we are currently funded by the Department of Education and Training.
